Beach Trip 2015

We have all looked forward to our beach trip all summer.  We didn't get to go to the beach last year, so we were all more than ready to go this year.  Because our summer was crazy busy, it flew by and finally it was time to head to Destin.  My mom and Josh's mom came again with us this year and we all had a great time.  The beach truly is my happy place and I'm glad my kids love it too.

We got there Thursday afternoon and headed straight for the beach.  We only had an hour or so before it started raining but we made the most of it.

There was a time she hated the sand but now she loves it (well, until it got in her swimsuit)

This kid went straight to the ocean without hesitation! He was ready to fight some waves!

Loving it!

Isabel was a little more hesitant when it came to the ocean.  She was good with her feet in the water but that was about it for a while.

The next morning Isabel and Will were up bright and early and begging to go to the pool.  Most days we spent a couple of hours at the pool and then ate lunch and headed for the beach.

One of my favorite parts about being at the beach is eating seafood but of course I had to take some balcony pictures before we left.

After dinner each night, we headed back to the beach.  This first night the kids just kept on their regular clothes.  We didn't make that mistake again!

I love my beautiful girl

This is Will NOT getting wet at the beach that night.

He was completely soaked and loved it! His daddy wasn't so dry either!

We got to see the beautiful "Blue Moon" that night.

After another fun day at the beach and pool, we went out for another yummy dinner (but took some more balcony pictures first of course)

Josh bought the kids a board to play with in the ocean but Will had to try it out in the pool first.

He and Isabel also pulled each other around the pool on it.

this kid is all boy...

and she is as girly as she can be!

Will loved riding the waves with his board until he filled his bathing suit with sand and decided maybe he would just play with it in the pool!

As always the bunkbeds are a highlight for these two.
