4 months

William is now 4 months!! I took him to the doctor today and he weighs 15 lbs and 12 oz. He is 25.5 inches long. His height, weight and head measurements were all in the 75th percentile!! Such a big boy. His doctor and I discussed that he is perfect....other than a few sleeping issues. Why is it that I love to sleep and I'm such a deep sleeper but neither of my children got that trait? Will actually was almost sleeping through the night a few weeks ago but he got a cold and woke himself up coughing multiple times for a few nights. Since then he has started waking up twice a night again. Ugh!! Our other problem is that he absolutely will not take a nap longer than 45 min in his bed. He will go back to sleep in my arms but I have to hold him if I want him to stay asleep. If anyone has any advice or suggestions I would LOVE to hear them!
He is still a very happy boy and is making more and more sounds. Isabel is constantly saying "what he say mommy?" If we ask her what he said, she makes up something and it is always funny. I can't wait until they can really talk and play together.

Parks

We have been to a couple of parks lately now that the weather is much warmer. Isabel loves the slides and William just likes hanging out in his car seat outside.
Uncle Matt got in a lot of practice with a baby while we were in Alabaster. It is a good thing because his little girl will be here in about 6 weeks!!!

Aunt Sandra

Last weekend my mom and my Aunt Sandra came to visit. We had a lot of fun. Aunt Sandra gave Isabel some birthday gifts. While she loved everything, the umbrella was definitely a favorite!
I'm not sure why the pictures are so small. Sorry. I'll fix it if I can (which means I'll ask Josh if he can make them bigger)

hands

William still loves his hands! Instead of sucking on just a few fingers, he will put the whole thing in his mouth. It drives me crazy because it makes his face so wet and then his little cheeks get chapped. He doesn't seem to mind though. He just loves those hands.

2yr/3mo Pictures

We took Isabel and Will to have their pictures made today. I was a little worried because you just never know what to expect. They both did GREAT though!! Will went first and didn't stop smiling. He was precious. Isabel wasn't so sure at first but she quickly warmed up to the photographer and started smiling and having fun. By the end she was giving the photographer high fives and posing like a pro. Out of the 154 pictures they took I probably loved 140 of them. Josh, of course, quickly helped me narrow those down so we could still pay our bills after paying for the pictures. Here are tons for you to enjoy:

more funny comments

I like the idea of posting the funny things Isabel says and does so I can remember them so here is another post. She is a funny kid. Jenn: Isabel, tell William what you did at school today Isabel: what you did at school today William Jenn: no, I mean tell him what you did at school today Isabel: what you did at school today William Jenn: nevermind **Her new favorite phrase is "listen guys, I gotta talk!" This is usually said as we sit around the dinner table and Josh and I try to have a conversation that she is not involved in. Obviously these conversations are not usually successful. **"his William" One day when Josh was picking Isabel up after school, she said one of the boys in her class went home to see "his William." This little boy has a baby brother who is usually in his car seat when his mom picks him up. Today at the library the huge stuffed gorilla that Isabel is terrified was not there. Isabel said it was because he went home with "his William"

Bumbo

We loved the bumbo seat with Isabel and now Will is old enough to enjoy his. It is funny to compare the pictures of Isabel and Will b/c even though they are about the same age in their bumbo pictures, he is so much bigger!

overalls

I bought these overalls for Will at a consignment sale months before he was born. I think they are so cute and they are almost too small so I had to take a few pictures of him in them.
