Will is 2 months

It is hard to believe that Will is already 2 months old. I love that he is already starting to show his little personality. He is such a happy baby unless he is hungry or sleepy. He is "talking" and smiling and laughing all of the time. We went for his two month check up and he is doing great. He weighs 13 pounds and 2 ounces and is 23 1/4 inches long. He weighs over 2 pounds more than Isabel did at this age!! I love his chubby cheeks and chunky thighs. I've been trying to explain to him that he really should sleep longer at night since he is such a big guy but he hasn't listened much so far. look at those cheeks!!

In the last week or so Will has really started interacting with us so much more. I think a lot of this has to do with the fact that he is finally on a good acid reflux medicine and is a much happier baby. He is smiling and cooing all the time and he even laughs out loud sometimes. We all love it! When he smiles at Isabel she says "he likes me mommy!" Getting a good picture of these smiles can be hard but this is the best I have gotten:

Our whole family made it to church today. Last week was actually Will's first trip to church but today was his first time in the nursery. He did well in the nursery and looked so cute. Josh says this is a "girly" outfit but I disagree!
I had to add a picture of Isabel too just because she looked cute too.

little drummer girl

Josh got the game Rock Band for Christmas. It comes with a guitar and drums. When Josh was trying to play the other day he got Isabel her own drum...a big pot. She happily played the drums on her pot for one song before deciding that daddy's drums were much better!!

The other day I was looking at how long Isabel's hair was getting and decided to see if it would go into pigtails yet. I didn't have any rubber bands with me so I just tried with two bows. These are the results. I think maybe we'll wait a little longer for this hairstyle but Isabel loved it!

I can't get her to stop making goofy faces when I take a picture!

First day of school

Yesterday was Isabel's first day of Mother's Day Out. There is a great program at our church that she gets to go to two days a week. I have to admit that I worried about her all day. Would she get scared? Would she miss me? Would she eat her lunch? What would happen at nap time? Fortunately she had a great day. According to the daily sheet I got she was "very helpful and such a sweetie!" She enjoyed "lemon painting and dolls." Although she didn't go to sleep during nap time, she layed down quietly. I am so proud of her!

She was really excited about her lunch box

How cute is this backpack she got for Christmas from Aunt Sandra
